Love of God

No matter what happens to Christians, nothing can separate them from the unchanging love of God.

Even while we are suffering, we shall not be without hope. That hope will not disappoint us because God is on our side. Nobody can successfully oppose us, and so we shall overcome. We shall win a great victory. We shall win by the power of God who loved us.

Priscilla and Aquila in Rome

Paul was a caring missionary. Especially, he loved and cared about the Christians whom he worked with (2 Corinthians 11:11, 28-29). We can see this at the end of his letters when he asks the person who receives each letter to greet certain people on his behalf. He remembers people who have been kind to him in the past and recommends church leaders whom he approves of.

Justice for the Poor and the Fatherless

Psalm 82 presents a picture of God leading a meeting in heaven, where He lives.

God tells the gods about His plans. Who are these gods? Biblical scholarship suggests different answers; but like majority think, the gods are the rulers of countries on the earth, like kings and other people that have authority.

Redeemed by God Without a Penny

Prophet Isaiah urges the Jews who were in captivity in Babylon to prepare for the return to Jerusalem. Hallelujah!!! The city that heathen armies defiled and destroyed will be rebuilt, to become strong, holy, and beautiful again (verses 1-2). The call to ‘awake’ means ‘realize your true value to God’. He is giving you a new opportunity to take your proper place of honor.
